Our Florida room is the perfect place to have a nice nap in the morning sun.
You would think that our cats would learn this and hang out here every morning, but cats can be unpredictable. As I write this on Thursday morning, all three boys are in the sunless spare bedroom.
Since we live in “The Sunshine State” getting outside for a little sunshine is easy, Dad willing.
Sometimes you want the full sun to work on your tan.
Other times relaxing in the shade is preferable.
The best time for a cat to find a sunbeam in our house is at sunrise and Chris knows the best place.
I was going through pictures and came across this super-cute picture of Floki from July. Aren’t kittens adorable?
I couldn’t decide which one of these photos of Floki and Chris I like better. I like the first one because Floki has his tongue sticking out and it clearly looks like something is about to happen.
I also like the second one because of the apparent smile on Floki’s face.
What do you think?
Here’s Flokie yesterday morning after he took over my chair. Rose keeps it covered because this is common.
Today is May Ray Day which is a day to get outside and catch some sun-rays. If you can’t get outside, just find a nice window and lie in the sunbeam.
Frankie loves the patio but in the afternoon, the living room is where you want to be if you want to lie in the sunbeam.
Our patio gets flooded with sunlight every morning, making it a great place to hang out. Here, Chris and Puck are soaking in the sun.
