It is pretty cool that our cats get along as good as they do. This photo was from Wednesday evening but as I write this on Thursday evening they are all grouped together on the bed in a similar way.

Frankie Meets Another Stray
I have been taking Frankie for a walk almost every day since my job went out of business. This means there are many more chances for meeting stray or outside cats. Yesterday, a stray saw us and started walking toward us.
I thought it might be a friendly encounter but Frankie had something else in mind.
I can’t help but wonder what happens when he escapes and is gone for three hours.
By the way, I did accept a job offer yesterday so I will be spending less time at home soon.

My wife and I usually sit in our bedroom for about an hour before we go to bed. Within the first ten minutes, all three cats usually filter into the room and join us. I have to get under the cover to protect myself from betting scratched by Chris.
Photo Friday: Stairway to Trouble
Here is Chris and Tigger twelve years ago today.
When you came into our condo, the stairs were to the right and a long, kitchen counter was to the left with a walkway between them. Chris could never be bothered with walking around and would jump from the stairs to the kitchen counter or from the kitchen counter to the stairs.
Outside Stretch
The last time I took Frankie for a walk he not only lied down in the grass he completely stretched out.. He sure can be funny sometimes.
Does anybody else have a cat that stretches like that while they’re laying down?

I love that our cats don’t mind being close to each other but having all three napping together as close as they were the other day is not common.
My guess is, Frankie was there first, then Chris came and joined him then Floki came and joined Chris.
Frankie the Lizard Hunter
Chris is not the only lizard catcher in the family. Frankie, while not as good as Chris, did manage to snag a lizard on Saturday.
He carried the lizard around for a minute and then set him down so he could have fun catching him again. Unfortunately for Frankie, the lizard was faster the second time.
By the way, that is not blood on Frankie’s paw. It’s some kind of plant matter that he picked up with the lizard, like the leaf hanging from his mouth.

Frankie Asking to Go Outside
I usually take Frankie for a walk on the weekends and he knows when it is the weekend because I am home longer that usual. Two weeks ago, my work went out of business so, until I find another job, I am home everyday. This means everyday is the weekend as far as Frankie is concerned and he won’t let me be lazy. Here he is demanding to be taken out for a walk.
