Photo Friday: Classic Chris
Frankie has been in the spotlight too much lately and I wanted to show a photo of Chris that I really like. You have probably seen a similar one where he is playing with toys while in a baby’s carrier. This was taken at the same time and shows not only what he does best, being naughty, but also a priceless expression on his face. It was taken Easter Day, 2010.
A young couple came for dinner with their baby and Chris kept steeling the baby’s pacifier. We would take it away from Chris and then he would unzip the diaper bag and take another one. I think he made off with three of them. We had to buy them new pacifiers and we bought a spare pack for Chris.

I did Frankie’s profile four weeks ago and though I would show Puck’s profile this week. Puck is a difficult cat to photograph but I think this photo is pretty good. What do you think?

Chris and Puck remind me of the Yin and the Yang and not just because of the way they are sleeping. They get along so well, I think, because their personalities don’t conflict but are mostly complimentary (like my wife and me).

The New Scratching Chair
Rose: Don’t even think about scratching my new chair, Chris. You ruined the last one.
Chris: I’m just looking at it. Besides, it wasn’t all me. Frankie helped ruin the other chair.
Rose: Just behave, and don’t be a bad cat.
Chris: This is really nice fabric. I’ll bet this was expensive.
Rose: Chris! What did I just tell you?
Chris: Check out the workmanship.
Rose: Chris! Stop it! Stop scratching the chair!
Chris: Mom, this chair is really nice. I would talk to Frankie about keeping his claws off of it.
Photo Friday: Cats on a Ledge
Puck, being a black cat, is somewhat difficult to photograph and I have very few good photos of his face. This one of him with Frankie is not perfect but I like it. What do you think?
