Even though Chris seems to sleep with Frankie more often than Puck, I think it is Chris and Puck who are probably the two best friends in our house. They are the only two that I never see fight with each other, except for a rare whap now and then. Puck often sleeps in the cubicle on the cat perch or sometimes he naps at the opposite end of the house as everyone else. That might explain why Chris chooses to sleep with Frankie more often.
Seeing all four of our cats in one place is a rare event around here. Three is more common but even that happens infrequent enough to warrant a photograph. I guess they have conflicting schedules. For some reason, Puck is usually the odd cat out.
We all know cats like to nap but certain times of day are more popular than others. I took all of the following photos on Sunday at around 11:45 a.m.

On a recent walk, Frankie decided to do the “Happy Roll” that he learned from Chris.
Like most cats, Chris can’t resist an empty box. I walked away after he jumped into the box and came back to find him like this.
Many of the pictures I take of Floki seem to show a cat with a very serious look on his face.
I don’t know if this is a Siamese cat trait but I know he does look pleasant in other pictures.

Recently, friends of ours lost both their cats not too far apart from each other. After a short break, they decided to adopt a kitten named Carter. A couple of weekends ago they went away and needed a cat sitter. My wife immediately volunteered, even though she was going to be out of town, at least for the first visit. That meant it was my job to take care of the little fellow.
It turns out Carter is a very affectionate kitten with a loud purr and it was a pleasure to spend a little time with him.
He seemed to take to me like he knew me his entire life.
Very few cats can be so intimate with a stranger. It is one of the appealing qualities Chris had that made me want to adopt him.
How common is this? Do you have a cat that likes strangers?
