Photo Friday: Bedtime

Unfortunately, Chris is way too annoying at night so we have to close our door to all the cats when we go to bed. In Chris’s defense, he is only part of the problem. Frankie will jump on the dresser in the middle of the night and make noise by scratching at the blinds or knocking something over. Floki and Puck are mostly good but now I worry about Puck peeing on the bed since he has done it twice already and pooped on it once.

This means that somebody has to be the bad guy and kick out all the non-humans. That bad guy usually ends up being me.

I was looking through old printed photos and found one of our cat Princess from around 2001. She was looking into our blue toilet that we had back then. We had the bathroom renovated shortly after that and I completely forgot about that ugly thing until I saw the photo.

Everyone here is resting up for the big New’s Years bash at our house which will consist of two humans and four cats, possibly three since Frankie wants to expend all his energy before the party.

I hesitated to post another picture of our four cats on the bed together for the second week in a row but I couldn’t leave a cute photo like this locked away on my computer. It seems our bed is a feline gathering place when the temperature gets cold.It has warmed since I took this photo and everyone is back to separate napping spots, except Chris who likes to nap on top of someone.

We had furniture delivered last week so before it arrived we got rid of the old furniture and then pushed everything to one side of the room. I put one of the small cat perches on a chair next to the table to get it out of the way but that didn’t deter Chris. He still managed to nap on it. He even had his Kitty Kix Stick with him.

We went to my sister-in-law’s house for Thanksgiving and I was told I need to ignore the cats and take family pictures. I think I managed to get one photo of my wife and her mother and that was it. Nobody wanted to get together for a group photo. The good news is that I didn’t ignore the cats and I have some cute photos for you.
