Chris loves lying on top of other cats, and people too, but Floki is the first cat that actually likes attention from Chris.

Our Florida room is the perfect place to have a nice nap in the morning sun.
You would think that our cats would learn this and hang out here every morning, but cats can be unpredictable. As I write this on Thursday morning, all three boys are in the sunless spare bedroom.

Floki was napping with Chris until I woke him up trying to get in a better position to take their photo.

Christmas Nap
We had a nice Christmas and I appreciate all the well wishes. My son and best friend came over and we had more food for lunch than anyone should be allowed to eat. Afterward, we all felt like taking a nap.
Meanwhile, our cats beat us to it.

I used to think my wife’s pillow collection was excessive but this pillow saved Chris from plunging three feet to the cushion below. It might have caused him to enter a state of wakefulness. That was a close call. I will never again doubt the wisdom of owning three dozen pillows.

It is so cute when cats cozy up to each other. In our house, Chris is almost always involved.

A cat who displays his or her belly is showing that they are content and that they have total trust in you since this is a very vulnerable position. Frankie spends much of his nap time this way.

The last Photo Friday featured Frankie in his favorite spot. At the same time that photo was taken, Floki was sleeping on the daybed behind him.

Recently, Rose started pushing her office chair near the window when she is done using it. Frankie figured out it is a great place for a nap and spends much of his nap time now on her chair, including now as I write this.
