My wife got a package yesterday and put the box down for the cats. Of course, Chris had to get in it but what happened next was unexpected.

My wife got a great photo of the cats on Wednesday morning. Check out Chris as the caboose.

It is such a pleasure to see how our cats nap together. In this photo, Frankie is the engine, Chris is the dining car, and Floki is the caboose.

I really think that Chris is the glue that holds everyone together. If something happens to him, I fear we won’t see this anymore.
Note: When I scheduled this post, I set the time and forgot to change the date which is why some of you are seeing it early. I could have deleted it but I’m too lazy to start over.
Recently I posted that Floki was very interested in watching the movie “Strays.” Some people commented about how their cats liked sports and I mentioned that football or hockey would probably be intriguing for cats. Sure enough, my wife and I were watching a Hallmark movie about a past his prime hockey player still trying to make it to the NHL. As soon as they showed him playing in a game, Flokie suddenly became interested.

He didn’t care about any of the romance stuff but as soon as the game started, he was glued to the set.
Saturday evening my wife and I sat down to watch a movie. We decided to stream a movie called “Strays.” After about twenty minutes it became apparent that the movie tried too hard to get laughs from crude humor and it just didn’t work so I suggested changing the channel. By then Floki was very interested in the movie and Rose didn’t want to deprive him of the entertainment.

He moved from the television stand to the coffee table to the floor and back again.

All the while he stayed interested in the movie. We watched half the movie before going to bed. Sunday, I made dinner, and we sat in the living room to eat. I didn’t want to look for a new movie because I wanted to eat so I put the same movie back on. Again, Floki became very interested. He sat on the floor watching the movie until it was over, probably forty-five minutes or so.
Is Floki weird or is watching television normal for some cats?
Here is Floki five years ago yesterday. We were packing for a cruise and Floki was there to help. Rose put a small blanket in the suitcase, probably to collect cat hair.

I was going through photos and found this one of Chris and Floki from July.

I have so many photos that it is easy to miss some good ones sometimes.
Chris, Floki, and Frankie were enjoying the catio the other day.

Chris seems better this morning after falling asleep in the litter box on Wednesday.
Chris and Floki like to hang out together. Quite often, we will find them grooming each other like in the video below.
Now tell the truth. Do you have that Beatles song stuck in your head now?
Nothing attracts cats more than luggage and laundry, at least nothing inedible. My wife had her suitcase out Sunday morning because she was leaving on a business trip. At the same time, I was folding towels that just came out of the laundry. I don’t have to show you photos for you to know what happened next, but I will anyway.

After Rose left and the towels were put away, Floki and Chris remained.
