Frankie is attracted to our laundry basket like flies to shoot I lost my train of thought. Anyway, when I bring it in empty he has to get inside of it. Usually he tips it over but this time I had the cover open so he just jumped inside. Of course, Floki had to investigate what he was doing.

In other news, Chris had several teeth pulled on Wednesday and is doing okay. My main concern is that as of Thursday evening, he has not eaten anything for about three days. They did say that he would lose his appetite after anesthesia for 12 to 24 hours but it has been more than 24 hours as I write this. I will write more about it on my next post.
Oh dear…..it’s understandable that his mouth might be tender after the tooth pulling but he sure does need to eat SOMETHING……baby food maybe? I hope he eats today.
Pam
Thanks Pam. He had a very small amount of tuna last night and another small amount of our homemade cat food this morning. I will try tuna again later this morning.
Paté-style cat food, a little water added to turn it into a slurry when mashed with a fork might make Chris’ food more easily eaten for the meantime.
Good idea. I will try adding a little water next time.
you need the twins… they would love it to empty the basket for you …together you would be the perfect team ;O)
Hahaha. I think Frankie might fight you for it. 🙂
Cute photo! Come Chris, you need to eat pal. I had 15 teeth removed and ate the next day, something isn’t right, tell Dad what it is please.
Chris was sick and puking before the procedure but the vet never discovered why.
I hope Chris finds his appetite soon – you don’t want him to develop fatty liver disease, which is always a concern when cats don’t eat.
He has lost a full pound, which is good, and now he is gradually eating more.
dood….trout soop….ya gotta eat sum thin buddy…even if itz …..we canna bee leeve we iz bout ta say thiz….even if itz burd:) ♥♥
A bird might do him good.
This results in a dangerous condition known as hepatic lipidosis, which can lead to liver failure.

I have had a cat treated for that – it was neither cheap nor harmless. Please, see to it he eats – or forcefeed him.
Thanks. He is eating today. A little less than normal but he actually ate some dry food along with his wet food.
That’s a good sign. I am freaking out because I nearly lost my little female this way!
I was nervous for awhile too but I feel better now.
