Work was slow last Friday so I had the day off. Of course, when that happens I am not allowed to play all day and usually have a honey-do list that involves cleaning the house. I did have some free time though and decided to let Chris out for some fresh air.
I didn’t want to let Puck out because he is such a pain to catch and bring back in but after seeing the look of rejection on his face I couldn’t refuse him.
I was glad they had a chance to be outside. Puck raced across the yard a few times getting exercise that is difficult to get indoors, although he does do some running around inside. Chris ate some grass, which he likes to do when he is outside. He caught a lizard too, which I did not get a picture of. Both had fun in a safe environment and, as predicted, puck gave me a run for my money when it was time to go inside.
Looks like a really great day to be outside and explore (and eat grass!). Exercise and nommy green stuff – love it!!

It was a good day. We are waiting for an opportunity to do it again.
I have a ‘trick’ I use for Whitey when I have to leave to go somewhere. I sit in a chair and ignore him for a bit – he will start to come toward me, then I invite him into chair next to me or my lap – when he gets close, I grab him, put him in my lap and ‘love’ on him for a bit, then take him in! š
That’s funny that you have to be sneaky
Ummmm..Hi…I see you followed me and I did not know you. But Nyone who FozzieMum visits must be really great! So I hopped over to read up about Chris and Puck. I hope they are both feeling better. Probably a URI which is a feline cold. Would you like to join the Face Book group CWB…Cats with blogs. It is a place where the humans can talk with each other. Let me know
Thank you. I sent a request to join the group.
Good to see the lads out and bout and having fun….until you try and get them in….they really are pills!!! hehee š hugs Fozziemum x
Yes they are. I wish I could just let them go out when they want to but I worry about traffic and other dangers.
I don’t blame you! they are always in peril with the traffic š¦

Sorry, no kitten pics today. Maybe tomorrow. This post was from our last house where we had a somewhat enclosed back yard and could let the cats out under supervision. Puck has not been outside in a year since we moved. I am hoping to get a harness on him soon without him freaking out (again).
Hopefully your newest resident is winning the rest of the crew over by now to the point he is making friends with them! As for taking Puck out with a harness – good luck with that !!
Pam
He is making friends but annoys Chris sometimes by whacking his tail.
Looks like they had a lot of fun.
They sure did.
