Recently I found a cat toy at a thrift store. I am not sure who makes it. The closest I could find was a toy called SmartCat 3836 Tick Tock Teaser perhaps this is a predecessor. They really loved it for the first ten minutes but now they barely notice it.
Hehehe!! You deaded it!!!!!!! I loved watching your 3 cats playing together. It so makes me wish I had more than one cat. Love the dynamics of the 3. They really were engrossed with that toy for quite some time!
Maybe a playmate is in order. 🙂
Looks like a fun toy !
My mom-person put’s away the toy’s I don’t play with and after a couple of weeks they are as new again 🙂
Excellent idea. I wonder if that would work for my job. Hmmm…
Y’know, we have a toy very similar to that one. We hardly ever play with it anymore and the mom says she’s gonna donate it to the shelter.
That’s a good idea. A shelter is always getting new cats who may have never seen a toy like that, or any toy.
Ours are like that. Love it when leave it. If you put it away and take it out again they will think it’s new :D. Just think of them as children and apply same tactics LOL
They are very much like children. I will try that.
Isn’t that always the way with a new toy. Calista Jo watched the video quite closely and tried to join in on the action by pawing at the screen. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
That’s funny when you can be entertained on and off the screen.
Hahahaah I was wondering when it would be knocked over! and then bang hahaha gorgeous boys…love watching groups of kitties having fun…but the most outstanding thing for me was…..drum roll….why is that chair not shredded!!!! BRAVO! mine would turn it to floss 🙂 hugs Fozziemum x
That’s because nobody uses that Chair. Rose’s chair looks like a war zone. 🙂
Bwahahahhaha 🙂
Yeah, I think we’d enjoy that thing for about 10 minutes too. The novelty wears off fast.
It sure does. The only toy that seemed to keep their attention was called The Cat’s Meow, but we no longer have that because we gave it to someone with 16 cats.

Wow, they’re mesmerised! Pity it didn’t last for long.
They get tired of new toys pretty quick. 😦
That’s frustrating 😦
Reblogged this on Bad Cat Chris and commented:
This was a fun toy while it lasted.
Short-attention-spanitis! A condition many cats seem to have. Teddy loves his new toys for five minutes then it goes into the toy box until I dig around and get it out for him again – yes they are like little kids!

Many toys seem to work best when you put them away for a while then bring them back out.
None of the toys I buy last for more then thirty minutes with my two cats. =^..^=
Do they get bored or do they destroy them?
They get bored. =^..^=
That is common.
Seeing a video like this makes me wish I had multiple cats. They dynamic is amazing. That jump at the end is hilarious!!
It is good to have two cats. Four may be too many. 😉
The Cat’s Meow, eh? Here’s the sad tale of how my two kitties went from crazy to bored with that toy, which I set aside and tried to re-interest them in. Things just got worse!
I can’t link to it from my phone but I will look on my computer later.
At least they had fun with it for a while, a lot of toys around here never get that much action. 🙂
That happens to most toys.
Yes, they rarely like toys for long, but, like others, I put them away for a time, and they are “new” for a little more plays. One toy they never tire of is peacock feathers, though (for reasons they only know), they prefer the quill end over the feathered. Cats!
Our cat Floki never tires of playing with rolled up pieces of paper.
