The other day, Chris was on my lap when he decided to jump off and onto the nearby shelf. That shelf has been exclusively Floki’s domain . . . until now.
It wasn’t long before he was napping there.
I don’t know if Floki came around later and found Chris in his spot. If he did, I am probably lucky I missed it.
A bookcase is too much for a cat to resist. I realized long ago that putting stuff on every shelf just guaranteed that something would be knocked off. Instead, I leave one shelf empty just for the cats.
Here, Floki is enjoying some alone time but I have seen all of our cats up there at one time or another.
I reserved one of the shelves on our bookcase for the cats but I think maybe I should have reserved two shelves.
We will be away again next week so I probably won’t be posting anything until we come back except for next week’s Photo Friday which I will schedule today. The boys will have their favorite cat sitter, Lynn, stopping by to feed and play with them.
