My wife got a shipment yesterday, removed the flaps on the box, and put it on the floor for the cats. I noticed Floki sleeping in it last night. This morning Rose couldn’t sleep and, while she was up, put a towel in the box. She woke me up when she came back to bed so I got up and saw Chris napping in the box.

If we paid top dollar for a cat bed it wouldn’t get used as much

Yep – we get what WE think would be comfy for them but those boxes are like a “siren’s call” to a cat……I think that blanket made that box totally perfect for Chris!
Hugs, Pam
I think so, too.
It’s their box now.
🙂
Always funny to see a round cat fitting into a square or rectangular box!
I agree.
My Gracie is not fond of boxes, but even this one looks like one she would like – cozy with being confining.
It seems the perfect size for Chris.
Yes indeed, nothing beats a good box!
Of course. 😊
If they fits, they sits. 🙂
🙂
Sooo true! I recently bought Roary an adorable “kitty couch” that another person had on their blog. Roary has YET to touch it (and it has been here for WEEKS). The second I throw a box on the floor he’s in it, playing, sleeping everything! I don’t know why I waste my money!
I was at Home Depot today today and saw bundles of cardboard boxes and I thought hmmm.
MOL MOL MOL!!
dood…just like peepulz payin top dollar for toyz….give uz paper towelz and we R havin
a hay day ‼️😺🐟
That’s right. 🙂
Cats are attracted to squares and rectangles and science has shown it, but not why. Yes, they love boxes, and that is why, and if you buy a cat bed, buy a rectangular one, not round, and they will really enjoy it.
I didn’t know that.
It is the perfect size for Chris. And probably very comfy for him.
He fits just right.
