My wife and I usually sit in our bedroom for about an hour before we go to bed. Within the first ten minutes, all three cats usually filter into the room and join us. I have to get under the cover to protect myself from betting scratched by Chris.

I don’t think they realize how “dangerous” their claws are…..Teddy kind of dances around on the bedspread when he’s up there with us and we’ve learned to keep our arms under the covers!

First, we need to clip his nails. Second, you are right. I think he does similar things with his paws on Frankie but Frankie has a thick coat of fur.
That is how my cats wake me up in the morning. If I move my foot the slightest little bit, White Paws (I should have named him White Claws!) attacks them and won’t stop until I get up.
We lock the cats out at night but around 5:30 a.m. Floki is outside the door crying or Chris is scratching on the door.
You might need a bigger bed!
