I don’t know why Chris likes to scratch but he has gotten worse these last few years. He especially likes to scratch me, although he does target Rose on occasion.
If you haven’t followed Chris yet on YouTube I invite you to open the video on YouTube and click the follow button.
Ouch! That doesn’t look like fun Chris!
Maybe for him it is.
This made me laugh. “Who is this ‘Chris’ you keep talking to?”**goes back to scratching**
I should change his name to “Stop.” It won’t make him stop but he will know it is him that I am talking to.
What a little stinker. 🙂
Exactly my thoughts. 🙂
Do you smell like catnip?
Ollie digs his claws in me when massaging me and that can get aggravating. He doesn’t mistake me for scratching post. Ouch.
I do not know what Chris’s end game is. He just likes to be annoying, I guess.
If Teddy gets over-stimulated while playing with me he will scratch me or sometimes bite but he always looks sorry when I tell him “NO!”……
Hugs, Pam
Telling Chris no is like telling the wind not to blow.
Well, Chris has never been like a “normal” cat. 😉
Nope, never! 🙂
I wonder if he thinks he’s petting you and just doesn’t understand the claw part?
I have thought of that. Since I don’t have fur I am more sensitive to “the claw.” 🙂
Looks like no scratching means try biting instead. Be careful, Chris. They might start putting baby socks on your paws. Mom did that to me when I scratched my face too much, once. #embarrassing
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Good idea.
Chris! You remind me of Angel Nellie! I, Marv prefer to bite my Mom. Mom says she prefers the scratching. We hope you and your Peeps have a wonderful week! Purrs marv
Thank you, Marv.
I agree when someone said he is “petting” you. Also, he is EXTREMELY determined! He is full of personality!!
I’m sure he doesn’t realize humans have more sensitive skin than cats.
