Often on my walk with Frankie, we see many squirrels and birds. Sometimes they are close enough to prompt an attempted attack, which is thwarted by the leash or by me running alongside Frankie and making too much noise. More often than not, the birds or squirrels are far enough away to warrant only a curious look.
Here, Frankie is probably hoping the bird will wander into the danger zone.
Frankie–you are one handsome boy.
we cross our paws that he comes closer and closer…
That’s all I need. 🙂

Be patient, Frankie…
I am sure Frankie would like a little taste. 🙂
No doubt. 🙂
You are handsome, Frankie. Be patient, one day a bird or squirrel will wander too close.
One day . . .
That really is a wonderful photo though!
He’s a hunter at heart
Frankie at the ready to attack…..well…..at least he can attack as long as his leash-holder cooperates! HAHA
I try but sometimes I am slow to react.
I chase lizards sometimes on my outings, but I’m not allowed to catch them. If I manage to put my paw on one (happened once!), my human takes it from me and sets it free.
Frankie has never been a good lizard catcher so I don’t worry too much. Chris is a great lizard catcher but he mostly stopped trying when he got fat
