Before we went to our new house in West Virginia, Floki would often nap on the bed in the spare bedroom. We brought that bed with us so when we came back there was no bed there for Floki. That changed last weekend when we bought a new bed for that room. Now Floki is happy.
I should say he was happy until Chris stole his spot yesterday.
After I took this Photo Floki got down and then he jumped back up and hissed at Chris. He didn’t get his spot back but he did make sure his voice was heard.

Poor Floki…….at least he’s on the bed. Maybe he can get that spot back when Chris goes to pester someone else????

Why did you not lure away Chris with some treat or toy – or whatever he likes more than annoying Floki?
Floki could have laid down next to Chris but he chose not to.

We have that problem here! I got Marv (when I was living in Vancouver) he LOVED my bed. When I moved back to take care of my husband, Kozmo and Jo Jo had slept in the bedroom here in Midway. Now they think my bed is theirs because it is in their room and Marv thinks it is his. They are still working it out! We feel for Floki! Awesome post! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

I think floki likes it because it is out of the way and he can have some alone time. At least when Chris is not around.
I get the feeling that Chris is an immovable object when he steals another cat’s favorite spot.
I think at 19 or 20 pounds, that’s probably a good description.

Floki doesn’t cuddle with Chris?
Sometimes he comes to Chris expecting Chris to wash him and sometimes they do nap together but for some reason Chris prefers to lay with Frankie even though Chris and Frankie fight and Chris and Floki almost never fight.
Well, that bed is big enough to share.
