How Cat Fights Start

It seems that almost every time I see Chris washing another cat, it ends in a fight. That is especially true when he washes Floki. I don’t understand how such a nice thing goes bad so often.

no worries… that’s probably common. every time we washed Easy it ended with a fight too…. and as I was a little girl it ended always with a fight when my mother tried to wash the adventures of a fabulous day away :o)

Hahaha! This is such a cute video. My cats do the same thing. If Dexter starts grooming Manna, it almost always ends in a fight. When Cinco was with us, the same thing would happen when Manna groomed Cinco. This has to be some kind of cat mischief communication. MOL

It’s some type of passive-aggressiveness. It’s like, “Okay, I am doing you a favor and grooming you..but, you need to keep still *bites neck..there is a pause* resume licking.” And this goes on and on until someone throws the first punch and the friendly grooming turns into a brawl. I would be interested to learn the science behind it. I’ll research it and get back to you! Nice video 😛
