Revised Bad Cat Chris Book is Free

After Chris died, I read the book I wrote about him for the first time since I published it over eleven years ago. I’m embarrassed to say I found a lot of errors, most of which were commas. I feel I am a much better writer today, but commas are still my kryptonite. Either I don’t put them where they belong, or I put them where they don’t belong.

I went through the book and corrected the mistakes I found without changing the story. I also updated the backmatter with information about my current books. In addition, I changed the cover. I was never entirely happy with the cover. I don’t know why I didn’t change it years ago.

I decided to offer the corrected version for free today through Saturday. Unfortunately, it is only available on Kindle, so you can’t get it as a physical book. Maybe someday I’ll look into doing that. To get your free Kindle book, click here.

As always, writing a review of any of my books would be very helpful and I would appreciate it.

New Cat Bed Plus Free Books

Considering that all of or cats, especially Chris, like to get under the covers on our bed, I thought they would like their own bed with a cover on it so I picked one up about a week ago.

Floki took to it right away. Surprisingly, Chris waited his turn like a gentlecat.

I’ve seen Frankie in there too, but Chris forced him out before I could take a picture.

On another note, my books, Bad Cat Chris and Falling Star will be free in the eBook format today only on Amazon. My other two books, Identity Crisis and The Last Healer, will be 75% off on Smashwords through March 9. If anyone would like to help me by reviewing one of my books, I will appreciate it. I recommend checking out The Last Healer for $1.24 because I am currently writing a sequel to it.

Chris’s Book is Free on Kindle for Two Days

Bad Cat Chris Kindle eBookChris’s book, Bad Cat Chris: The Baddest Cat you’ll Ever Love, will be free on kindle today and tomorrow only. Amazon allows only five free days per 90 day enrollment in their KDP Select program. I already used three of those days, and since I don’t plan to re-enroll in the program, this may be the last chance to get it free. If you haven’t already picked up a copy, you can get it by clicking here.

I just want to ask everyone a big favor. Please, please, please, if you have read the book or plan on reading it, I would really appreciate a review on Amazon.

A good part of the book is taken from this blog and there is some added material as well. It is less than 30,000 words and can be read in one good sitting. Best of all, you don’t need a Kindle to read it. You can get an app for just about any device you have.
