My wife put a wicker table on the catio a while ago, and it has become Frankie’s new favorite spot. Floki’s favorite spot is near where you see him in this photo. Apparently, they want to be where the neighbor’s dog can see them and get all riled up.
Frankie’s second favorite spot is near the house, but also on the catio. In fact, he spends nearly the entire day on the catio, only coming in to use the litter box and eat.

It’s great that you have an enclosed outside spot for them there…..like you do back “home” (!)…….they may be thumbing their noses at the dog next door but I think they just love being outside. Teddy loves our front porch – we can’t screen it in (HOA rule) but we are always with him out there and I think he’d STAY out there if he could!

I have a hard time getting Frankie to come in, even when it is hot outside.

The catio is the purrfect place to hang out. I can see why Frankie likes it so much.
It is about four times bigger than our catio in Florida.
What a good place to tease the doggo, and to relax when he gives up. At least we hope he will .
I worry he will bust through the fence.
That’s why we have a tall chain link fence…buried one foot deep; the only way out is through the double gated sallyport…not very pretty, but very functional, and soon we will put one of those blocking fence covers over it so they don’t keep barking at whatever our neighbors are doing. D & B are barkaholics!

Kitties Blue can spend the entire day lounging on the catio and only have to come in for food. They have a litter box and fountain there. Chuck, you have won one of our surprise prizes from our “anniversaries” post giveaway. I can wait to send it until you return to Florida if you like. Just let me know. Sorry. I just saw this comment. That’s great. What is the prize? Is it something you can donate to an animal shelter? We are planning to leave here the end of August, hopefully the day the house sells.
