Photo Friday: Embracing Trash

Some days our house seems like a satellite office of the post office. I won’t mention any names but someone I’m married to likes to shop online.

After I took Frankie for a walk yesterday, Chris wanted to go outside, so I sat on the front step and watched him while he lay in the driveway and enjoyed the sun. The door opened and that someone I mentioned earlier threw the empty box from the first of four packages she received that day out the door. We often throw empty boxes out the door until one of us goes outside and takes them to the garbage can. The box was too much for Chris to resist.

I resent that implication Mr. Huss! Maybe I’m building a time machine and that’s what all of these packages are!

Bet Chris wishes that had been big enough for more than his head. We have an Amazon, Trader Joe’s and Sam’s annex in our garage, so the kitties here always have plenty of boxes too. Hope you are recycling those! XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh

I’m another one of those “someones” who LOVES shopping online! I rarely get anything at brick and mortar stores other than groceries and the drug store (even the groceries I sometimes have delivered!) Roary is a HUGE fan of boxes (Cody and my Bobo never were). Roary doesn’t care what the size of the box is, if there is an empty box, he’s all over it!
