Frankie loves to go out for a walk, but he also loves taking a break and relaxing while I check the time and wonder when we can move again.

Walking a cat is an interesting process! I remember standing in someone’s yard while my cat checked out flowers in a flower bed, thinking “I hope they don’t call the police!”
Ha. I know that exact feeling.
LOL! “Uh oh! I hope that police siren isn’t in response to where my cat took me…!”
Most people in my neighborhood are nice but id did get crap from one woman because Frankie was smelling the bush in her neighbor’s yard near the edge of her yard. She acted like we were desecrating holy ground.
Well, maybe eventually! LOL!
Frankie just has to chillax in his own way.
Humans worry about time, whilst cats have no idea what we are on about.
I envy them for that.
haha! I love seeing Frankie’s walks. He gives new meaning to ‘stop and smell the flowers.’
He is definitely not in a hurry.
Who’s walking whom???
Exactly.
He does look relaxed. 🙂
He is the king of relaxing.
That’s a darn nice stretch!
🙂
There are occasions when stretching out for a good ground scratch takes up all the time.
That seems so true.
When David and I take Ted out for a yard cruise there’s always the possibility he will lie down and rest…….we have stationed “seating” in various spots in the yard so we don’t have to stand there and watch him rest. Eventually he gets up and comes over to wherever we are and off we go again for more walking. We figure “going for a walk” means something different to cats than it does to us mere humans!
Hugs, Pam
Cats sometimes like to experience the outdoors from one place.
Yes and it gives their “escorts” a chance to rest up in between wanderings!

There is no way to hurry a cat
I usually have to pick him up when it is time to go home.
