Here is a post from July of 2016. I still make the same homemade food but only give it to them for breakfast. I give them canned food for lunch and dinner. I learned that too much of the same thing means they won’t eat it. I also learned that they won’t eat anything but chicken. Even turkey is a no,
Chicken but no turkey? That’s so funny! Almost as absurd as Catorze eating Iberico ham but not Serrano ham.
They take picky to the next level.
Cats can be super picky so if you have found “the magic key” for your cats with the raw – YAY! I guess we all keep on trying things until we find what they will eat AND still be good for them.
Hugs, Pam
It’s difficult because what they like one week they don’t the next.
As a dear friend is always reminding me…CATS.
I applaud that you make and feed raw; it’s always been something that I’d like to do too.
Thanks.
Your cats are very fortunate that you do that for them.
Please tell them that.
Good for you. I thought about it several times but never did follow though with it.
It’s relatively easy.
Thanks for reposting this. I missed it the first time. I have never really considered feeding raw. Too much work with a fool house and kitties that like different things. It’s hard to please one, let alone multiple cats
I’d consider doing it but I know my Sweetie too well. He’d feed them all kinds of treats (as he does now) because he says, “They’re so hungry!” They aren’t hungry, they just play him like a fiddle because they know he is too soft to resist, but he won’t believe that.
My wife is like that. I come home and the bowls are full of kibble. I want them to be hungry when it is time for wet food. I hate having to throw it away.
