I went out into the cat room yesterday evening and saw Chris sleeping in the litter box.

This is not normal behavior for Chris so I have to wonder if I should be worried.

I must admit I’ve never had a cat that did that – there must be something he’s trying to say but what?
Hugs, Pam
It’s a mystery to me.
You worry us too, Chris and we hope you’re alright🙏Healing Pawkisses for whatever lies beyond this🐾😽💞
Thank you.
I think you should. One of my cats did this and I did bring him to the vet. He had crystals and wanted to use the litter box but couldn’t go. Better safe than sorry.
Thanks. He seems okay now.
Sfter having a cat/ cars about 40 years, never seen that. Maybe a urine problem.
I don’t know. He seems fine now.
Definitely think Chris is trying to send you a message. I have seen cats in cages at shelters do this on occasion. I think their smell is comforting to them, but that’s not what this is about. Please keep us posted. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
Thanks. Those shelter cats are nervous but Chris is far from nervous. He’s not even bothered by the vacuum cleaner.
Sure hope Chris is okay!
Thank you.
We know nothing about cats except that they’re cute. We’ll watch to see what’s going on with Chris.
Thanks.
dood, ewe best get a chek up, just ta bee safe. werd iz …catz will sleep

Thanks so much.
That is kinda odd. Hope everything is okay.
Thanks.
I agree that Chris needs to go to the Vet. Roary just had bladder stones. That is definitely NOT normal cat behavior.
He seems fine this morning period I am hoping it’s just a one time weird thing.
The only time I have seen a cat sleep in the box is when she was not feeling well. I hope Chris is OK.
Thanks so much.
No, that’s not normal and I agree, that should mean a Vet checkup. Purrs to your Chris from all of us.
Thanks.
I agree with everyone: this is not usual behaviour if all is well. Hope Monsieur Christophe is ok.
Thanks so much.
I brought a veterinarian out after hours on a weekend one time when Andy did something odd that alarmed me. (Why are cat emergencies always after hours on weekends???) Turned out to be nothing. Amazingly, the veterinarian didn’t have me charged for the false alarm, the first and only time that happened.
