We adopted Frankie on February 15, 2014. I realized I forgot last week but I was busy and distracted. Pretty much normal for me.
I don’t think I ever published the first photo I ever took of Frankie. We saw him at a Petsmart in Clearwater, Florida. Rose was actually looking for a female cat but couldn’t resist Frankie’s charm.

Rose calls him a liar now because he put on the charm for her in the shelter and soon after we got home, when this photo was taken, but now he is my cat.
We don’t know much about Frankie’s history. He only had a number, no name. His chart said he was three years old, which means he is twelve now but he still acts like a kitten sometimes.
I am sure Frankie forgives you for forgetting his Gotcha…..I bet he didn’t even remember his Gotcha Day because he’s been HAPPY for so long there!
Hugs, Pam
The only day he remembers is the day that he goes outside.
Typical cat….. LOL
Hugs, Pam
Yep.
Happy Gotcha Day to you and Frankie!
Thanks.
Awwww Happy Belated Gotcha Day Frankie! I know how Rose feels. I saw Roary’s face on a Petfinder ad. Lenny was the one who went to meet him. The next day we both went to adopt him (after we were approved), to this day he is “Lenny’s cat”, which breaks my heart because my other two were far more bonded with me than anyone.
I usually attract the cats but I will say Floki has remained Rose’s cat, although he does come to me for attention sometimes which makes Rose jealous.

Thanks.
Awww, Happy Gotcha Day sweet Frankie!
Thank you.
Ginger cats have a way of charming us! I know I’d almost adopted a grey kitty when ginger Louie in another cage put on a real show for me! Next thing I knew, I’d adopted him instead of the kitty I thought I wanted. I can believe you got the ginger kitty treatment when you came into Frankie’s zone!
We were interested in a non-ginger tabby before Chris came along.
Non-ginger tabbies are nice, too, but you got a winner in Chris~!
I can’t argue with that.
Aww! That’s a great picture
Thanks.
