Running into strays is starting to become a habit for Frankie and me. Yesterday he took me behind our house. Usually, we travel in front of our house toward the clubhouse and pool area but sometimes he likes to be different. Directly behind us and two streets down we met another stray cat. This one seemed casually interested in Frankie but wasn’t happy that Frankie brought along a third wheel.
You think maybe that kitty wants to be Frankie’s friend? purrs
I think maybe but she might have been uncomfortable with me around.
You really did good Frankie! I’ll bet that stray was thinking what is that can doing walking that people.
Probably felt bad that he had such a responsibility. 🙂
Poor kitty. Is there a rescue group near you that can help this cutie?
I think the strays we have been seeing are being helped by residents. The office sent out a notice trying to get people to trap them but I don’t think they have the cats best interests in mind so I doubt many people will be in a hurry to help the management.
Are they doing the stray cat sturt
🙂
Perhaps you should have been carrying treats. 🙂
Reminds me of my first training for a volunteer position at a shelter. They said dogs will give up their freedom for a treat. Cats won’t.
🙂
I think Frankie was flirting with her….she’s a beauty!
Hugs, Pam
He wanted here to come to him because he was stuck on a leash.
Was that Frankie meowing? They seemed to be interested in each other for sure. He sure had a lot to say to that kitty!
I only heard Frankie that time. Also we went out the next day and Frankie did not go back there.
Hee! Hee! That reminds me of Marv and Merle, Marv was doing the talking as Kozmo was right behind him (for back up). Merle and Kozmo are closer “friends” than Marv and Merle. Thanks for sharing, both of the “boys” were incredibly interested in Frankie’s voice coming from my laptop!
Frankie didn’t kow what to think when I played back his own voice.
