Frankie loves lying on the perch by the windows in the cat’s room, which is what we call the Florida room. My mother calls her patio the Arizona room. I don’t know where she came up with that dumb name.
Sometimes I see Chris or Floki in this spot but it mostly belongs to Frankie.

What a perfect spot to keep an eye on things both INSIDE and OUT. Mom says she’s used to calling that space a Florida Room…..never heard it called anything BUT that. Your Mom is “creative” ! LOL

I knew that was the correct term. I have to tell my mom that.
We call ours the sunroom or three-season room (since we really can’t use it in the winter). Michigan room just doesn’t sound right…and we don’t live in Florida, so that doesn’t sound right either.
I have heard of the three season room. Where I live, we only have three seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and then it’s Spring again.
That does look like the purrfect perch spot!

We call ours the sunroom. The cats only go out there if we close the door for a while and then re-open it. It has lots of windows, but is on the west side of the house, so it really doesn’t get much sun.
We have a guest bedroom which is the blue room, but that’s because, erm, the walls are blue. Arizona room? Are there things in there that were bought in Arizona?
My Mom lives in Arizona and I live in Florida. 🙂
