I feel your pain (!)……Ted will often just make a little nest in the leaves and settle in for the long-haul. Fortunately we have strategically placed yard chairs for keeping an eye on him. No way could I stand while Ted RESTS. Frankie looks quite happy to lie there as long as you’ll let him!

Unfortunatly, Frankie goes too far from home to have a lawn chair nearby. Chris, on the other hand, usually stays close and I can sit and watch him.
maybe to have a sos bag with food and water could help you out for the waiting time? ;O)
