My Mom, The Cat Whisperer

I have always found it somewhat easy to connect with animals. Often when visiting someone they would comment about how their pet likes me, like it was surprising to them. I think it is because I tend to be calm, easygoing, and patient, traits that I inherited from my mother.

My mother is here visiting us and has already made a friend in Frankie.

Years ago, before I started this blog, we had a cat named Flash.

Flash

Flash was very shy and the most skittish cat we ever had. He would come to me for attention sometimes but would never go to my wife. One day, while my mom was visiting, Rose and I went out for some reason and when we returned, Flash was on Mom’s lap. I probably don’t have to mention how jealous Rose was at that sight.

One thing out of MANY that I love about cats is their ability to SENSE who is friend and who is foe. I think we all send out vibes that they pick up on (some people can do this too I believe)! Frankie obviously “got” your Mom’s vibe!! Have a wonderful visit with her. I’m sure she loves that catio like Frankie and all of you do!

    Hugs, Pam

We got Puck for my wife but then he sort of became my cat. Then we got Frankie for my wife but he sort of became my cat. Then we got floki for my wife. He has been more faithful to my wife, which I am glad about, because we don’t need more cats.
