As long as we have had Floki the rule of thumb has been Chris for napping and Frankie for playing but the rules have changed. Lately I have been seeing Floki napping with Frankie.
Perhaps moving to a new home turned everything upside down. I guess we will see if this continues.

Maybe Floki has decided when he’s in W. Virginia his “go to” for napping needs to be different than it is when he’s in Florida……sharing the love………!!

Yes. I do things differently here too.
So interesting to follow the behavior of the cats when there is a big change in their life.
There does seem to be a lot of changes. Floki, for example, used to let my wife hold him every morning. Now he comes for pets but no holding.
It is so bad they don’t talk “human”, it would be easier if they were talking all the time. On the other hand they would loose their mysteries.
I can do without the mysteries. I’d rather know what’s going on.
That has happens with my gang also. Since we moved to our current residence, Hissy and Graybie are less likely to nap together.
I gues it is a big change to deal with.
The cats always reserve the right to flip things on their heads just to keep us guessing

They do look pretty happy together!

I agree. I have had cats that don’t like sleeping with other cats. I prefer the ones who sleep together. It is way cuter.

I was going to say that maybe the change of location had something to do with it.
I believe that is the cause of it.
They’re probably still adjusting to the change.
