Chris’s Eleventh Gotcha Day

Eleven years ago today we brought Chris home from the shelter. He took over our home from the day we opened his carrier. Here is what that looked like.

He has slowed down since then but he may actually be more annoying now then ever. His annoying behavior though is endearing, just like his naughty behavior was when we adopted him.

We had four other cats at the time too and none of them gave Chris any trouble. I think Chris came in with an “I am the boss” attitude and everybody else just accepted that.

He looks like he made himself home the instant he arrived – so much to see and do – and I know he has loved every minute of his forever home(s) !! HAPPY GOTCHA CHRIS!

Yes, I wondered that, too – others need a safe room and settle in slowly, he was neither intimidated by there being another cat in the room nor was he ever so slightly insecure in this new territory that reeked of other cats!

And he is waving that tail flag the whole time! What a secure and confident little fellow. Love it. We did not have you in our calendar so purrs on your wonderful 11th Gotcha Day Chris!
