Our latest incarnation of Fort Box lasted longer than any other, perhaps six weeks or so, but my wife is tired of tripping over it and wants it gone today.

I have another box ready to go so I will give it a few days and then start over.

Well as long as there’s a replacement in the wings, I think the cats will be happy!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
I think so too.
A much as cats like new things, perhaps a change in boxes will be welcome … to everyone but the wife!
So true. Our cats love new things.
Nothing like a Fort Box but having a rotation is a lot of fun as they have a whole new Whiffie to them
I totally agree.
I let me kitties keep their boxes until Penny pees in it.
I think that gives Penny way too much power. 🙂
Yeah, our mom seems to not let us keep boxes for very long either. Party pooper.
I guess moms are like that. 🙂
Hooray for a new one in waiting, fortless is not an option!
No, they like the fort way too much.
I never get a box fort! My human just lets a box sit around for a couple of days and puts it into recycling.
Maybe she should build one for you. 😉
Oh no! We’re sad to hear about the demise of Fort Box. Glad you’re planning to build a new one. 🙂
The new one will be even better.
No box lasts that long here as Cooper Murphy and Astrid enjoy shredding them. When Mom gets tired of cleaning up small pieces of cardboard out the box goes to recycle. You kitties are very lucky. I have heard some scratching going on inside that box but not enough to cause much damage.
Who decides when the box goes? Your wife or the box?
My wife. 🙂
