Since Floki is a Siamese cat, he has the trademark cross-eyed look. Here it seems that his left eye is looking at the camera while his right eye is checking something else out. I believe the condition is caused by a slight misalignment of the retinas so he really is focusing on just one thing.
I think it adds to his cuteness. What do you think?

Floki is totally cute! His eyes are gorgeous and intriguing! Our Franklin looks slightly cross-eyed to me, although it’s difficult to see in the pictures. He’s a black kitty but the vet thinks he has some Siamese ancestry.
I think there’s a lot of interbreeding going on. a year or so ago I fed two faral kittens that looked exactly like Siamese kittens but their mother was a tabby.
I’ve seen a lot of Siamese markings turn up in the random bred population over the years. I’ve also read that there are a lot of those genes in US mixed breed cats because the Siamese breed has been kept and bred for long.
I would believe that.
