hugs to you… such days are hard to go through… we celebrated the birthday of my beloved grampy 3 days ago who passed away in 2006…. it still hurts and it feels as if it was yesterday …
I find it hard to believe 19 years have passed because it does feel like yesterday.
I read your post – looking back brings a lot of things back to the surface doesn’t it. Anyway, I know your feelings are “on the surface” today since it’s been 19 years today that you lost your Dad. I hope remembering all the good times will outweigh any of the “not so good” memories today. Thanks for sharing……….

I’m so sorry for your loss. I couldn’t imagine the pain to lose a parent. When I was growing up (especially in my teenage years) i didn’t try for a relationship with my mum or dad. Now that I’m 22, I would be lost without them. This is a beautiful tribute and your father would be really proud of the man that you are. X
