I decided to show a picture from the past today. This was taken six years ago, February 2011. It is Abbey sleeping on Tigger’s belly with Chris joining in. This happened a lot back then with Chris always the third wheel.
Proof that cat’s are not solitary creatures as many believe. They are social animals! I volunteer for a cat retirement sanctuary, and two of our most beloved kitties were named Abbey and Tigger.
That is an amazing coincidence. I think the domestic cat’s ancestor, the African wildcat is solitary, at least the male’s are, but social skills are needed for domestic cat’s.
they look so peaceful… like a happy family… I would love to have valentines cards with this photo… but I only got some with elephants yesterday ;o(
You mean elephants are not romantic? Did you know their brains are larger than human’s?
