The other day Chris was outside and caught another lizard. That is bad enough but he has this irresistible urge to bring his catch into the house and doesn’t know what to do with it when he can’t get in.
I’m not sure why he has to bring it inside. At first I thought it was instinctual but then I realized that lions don’t kill a gazelle and then drag it back to the den to eat it. Maybe he just wants to show it off to Puck and Frankie.

I think he wants to bring it in to give you hunting lessons.
I don’t need hunting lessons, I have cash.
I came down to the family room this morning after preparing for work and found tissues all over the place. They had gotten into the tissue box. Cats! LOL š Ellie

Chris, we cannot believe your dad is trying to reason with you. Pointless. You want to bring your lizard in and present it to Dad as you know he has no abilities as a hunter. Misty May has been really bad about birds the last couple of weeks. She’s catching one about everyday and bringing it in the cat door for her sisfurs to play with. Very naughty. Believe me, it’s not a present. The lizard is alive because he wants to play with it but, for some reason, playing outside is not an option.
Chris wants to bring it into the house because… it is HIS lizard now! He doesn’t understand why he has to give it up.
Yes but why can’t he play with it outside?
We only wish we had leezards here!
That’s too bad. If I was a cat I would want to be here.
Knowing that you’re not allowed to play inside with a lizzard is what you want most, isn’t it Chris š Pawkisses š
