I was at Pet Supermarket a couple of weeks ago and came across a sale on Stella and Cheweys. I bought those in the past because all our cats liked them and Chris loved them. The ones I bought were relatively big, maybe the size of Peanut M&Ms, and were intended as a meal that you add water to. Our cats didn’t like it wet, so I used them as treats. I only passed out a few at a time because I’m sure too many would be dehydrating. After Chris died, Frankie and Floki lost interest, so I stopped buying them.

When I saw them at the register I noticed they were different. The pieces were smaller. At buy one get one free, I figured it was worth a try.

I’m glad I bought them because both Frankie and Floki love them.

Recently, after I learned Floki might have dental issues, I was left with three choices. I could brush his teeth everyday, which would be easy if I had superpowers. I could pay an insane amount of money to have the vet do it. I choose the third option: buy dental treats.

We used to buy Greenies for our cats years ago. I’m not sure why we stopped. Perhaps I looked at the ingredients. I don’t know, but I figured whatever is in them might be less bad than having teeth pulled. I bought the Oven Roasted Chicken Flavor, and again our cats loved them.

Has anyone else tried either of these treats?
