Only White Kitty ever caught a lizard that I know of, and he ate it before I could get to him. As for the rest, I never caught any with anything but bugs.
Puck moving his lizard into the litter box “so he could play with it without losing it” is peak cat logic — the box became an arena with walls. The crowd of feline spectators in the video cracks me up; nothing draws an audience like another cat misbehaving. One thing we learned with our own champion hunters: keeping a few ping-pong balls and kick toys far from the litter area gives that play energy somewhere else to go, so the box stays a bathroom, not a hunting blind.
Reminds me of when Chris was young. We didn’t have ping pong balls but Chris liked to steal water bottle caps and play hockey with them. I remember cleaning under the refrigerator and finding eight or ten of them.

Chris was our champion lizard catcher.
OMC! That was fun for the kitties, not so much for the wee lizard.
No, but I think it survived.
That would be pretty exciting
It was. 😊
