One day you should just keep walking and walking with him, to see who cracks first. Like when Forrest Gump decided to just keep running.
I tried that once and I cracked first. I then had to carry him about four blocks home.

Sounds like he knows what he’s doing. He can go as far as he’d like then get a ride back home. 🙂
I hadn’t considered that.
The idea people have cats always find their way home is not accurate, although many do. I can see keeping him on a lead.
He travels too far. I always worried about him getting lost.
