I found this video from Christmas Eve, two days before we moved into our current house. We saw a small dog wandering around with no owner in sight.
Frankie was remarkably calm and didn’t try to whack the dog.

Frankie was remarkably calm, as was the dog. He eventually found his home?
I think he did but did not see where he lived. My guess is some lazy person opened their door and let him out.
We hope the woofie found his/her way home.
I’m thinking his owner let him out to pee but was too lazy to go out with him or perhaps disabled.
Both well-behaved. I hope the dog’s owner found him.
Seems it was a smart little pupper there, knew it woulda been a smackdown! Hope he found his (her) family and home before Santa arrived …
I’m sure he knew where home was.
They were both really calm!
I expected a little trouble.
That poor little dog looked so fragile. Frankie probably felt sorry for it. Hope the doggie found its way home. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
He was a little guy. I’m sure Frankie didn’t consider him a threat.
I’m sorry the dog seemed lost but glad it was not aggressive. It might get along well with cats if it were properly trained.
I think he would benefit from a cat buddy.
Poor little guy was probably asking Frankie “do you know where I live????” – I sure hope he found his way home one way or another!
Hugs, Pam
He might have been saying, “Are you my mother?” 🙂
Frankie must be a really calm cat. I hope the dog found its way home.
The last dog we met got the whacky paw, but that dog was way more excited.
Frankie was extremely well behaved. I don’t think any of our cats have met a dog except maybe at a shelter.
I was surprised.
Oh, dear, that sure was a fragile looking doggy. Maybe a senior pup? H/she came to check out you as well, and seemed to ignore Frankie. I sure hope h/s found their way hi=ome without further issues. Frankie was very s=calm…I bet he would love a wee pup of his own.
(When we got our first dog, MJF, he was 8 weeks old and weighed about 2.5 pounds. Our then cat, Toki decided after a few sniffs that this was a nice warm thing, crawled into the little bed and laid on top of him. Puppy didn’t mind at all, and those two become best buddies.)
That’s a nice story. I think the little dog was old.
