I Missed Frankie’s Gotcha Day

We adopted Frankie eleven years ago on the eighth of February, which means I missed his Gotcha Day by over two weeks. Fortunately, he doesn’t seem too upset about it.

When we adopted him, he was estimated to be three years old, so we also celebrate his birthday at this time. If I remember right, he was in captivity for about three months before we adopted him, so he might actually be three months older than fourteen.

I think celebrating dates is a human thing anyway – Frankie is happy as long as he has a warm spot to nap, good eating, and a walk with Dad once in a while. He looks pretty happy in that photo!

    Hugs, Pam
