Frankie spent a lot of time on our walk today chasing squirrels. At one point, he cornered one on a palm tree and decided to wait him out.

Unfortunately for Frankie, ten minutes is my limit for standing around staring at a tree.

Frankie would have bern staring at the tree for hours to get the squirrel. The time doesn’t mean so much, the squirrel means.
That’s true. Frankie didn’t have anything to get home to right away.
He probably thinks you’re pathetic for wimping out after ten minutes.
Probably but he’s lucky I take him out at all.
He’s probably better off not catching the squirrel
Yes he is and so is the squirrel.
Poor Frankie. Lucky squirrel.
I’ve tried to use logic and asked him what he’s going to do it to squirrel after he catches him.
That was a darn nice try Frankie!
He would probably have better luck if he wasn’t dragging me behind him.
frankie, yoo izza berry good sqwerler!!! you git point fur treeing the guy!!
He treated several squirrels on our walk.
That should be treed.
While taking Mr. Cal for a walk today, we saw a squirrel make a long jump from one tree to another quite easily, so I’m sure that pesky critter flew the coop and was in another tree, not planning to come back to a waiting cat. Although hope does spring eternal, doesn’t it.
Squirrels are certainly good at jumping from tree to tree. This particular palm tree was not close enough to other trees.
we sadly have no squirrels here, maybe frankie can send us some?
Really? I thought everybody had squirrels.
You’re a far more patient pawrent than I. Five minutes woulda been my limit.
I don’t know how long it was it just seemed like 10 minutes to me.
Squirrels can be quite wily.
For sure. 😊
10 minutes is very generous!
I’m a nice guy. 😊
Well congrats for being THAT patient!!! Frankie is definitely giving the squirrel the evil eye though…..LOL
Hugs, Pam
Chris used to love lizards and Frankie love squirrels. My love I mean he wants to eat them.
MOL…we think Frankie is lucky to have you waiting 10 minutes with him and the quirrel is lucky that you ‘just’ waited 10 minutes for him…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞
The squirrels are mostly lucky that he is not out there by himself.
Gee! Sometimes patience pays off and sometinmes it does not.
I think humans are way less patience than we cats !

I agree.
