I took Floki to the vet on Friday to get his nails trimmed because he absolutely will not let us cut them but he is a good boy at the vet. While in the waiting room, Freddy, the resident cat, came out to say hello.
It was a very civil meeting. Nobody growled or hissed. While Floki was with the vet tech, Freddy stayed with me and showed me how good of a biter he is.
wow a very good event… no wrestling nor turned the vet into a lion tamer ;O)))
Getting Floki’s nails trimmed goes much smoother at the vets than at our house.
How nice of Freddy to give you a biting demo!
Hugs, Pam
He’s a good boy with sharp teeth.
What a happy thing that is when your kitty is good at the veterinarian’s!
Why can’t he be good when we try to trim his nails?
I’ve just never had any of my cats’ nails trimmed. Andy and the others always took care of that on scratching posts (or furniture…!) and by nibblibbling the hind ones off.
Some cats are better at using scratching posts than others. I think we trim Frankie and Chris’s nails about once every 3 weeks or so. They get very sharp and Chris can be very annoying with his scratching on skin.
Andy puts out nails if I ignore him too often when he wants me to follow him to some kitty-interesting thing or place. I try to anticipate that point of petulance.
mol about freddy
🙂
Floki Poki…he’s so cute and such a pain to get his nails trimmed!
A huge pain.
Hope he didn’t hurt you.
I’m used to it. Chris and Frankie are both biters and Chris is a scratcher too.
It’s nice that the Vet place has such a wonderful greeter!
He is good. He never hisses at patients.
Looks like Floki made a friend.
Everybody loves Floki.
You must taste good. 🙂
That has to be it. 🙂
