I get notifications from Google and Microsoft highlighting photos from this day. Today I saw this one that I didn’t remember from 2015.

I then noticed a video from the same time. I checked YouTube to see if I had posted it there. I did.
I also noticed another video from earlier that month that was still marked as a draft. It was a video of Frankie’s first time on a leash and harness. I don’t know why that video was older than the one above. Perhaps I had too much trouble with that harness so I decided to continue to let Frankie out without a leash. I did put it on upside down that time and didn’t notice until we were outside.
After these videos, Frankie proved too much of a wild spirit and would take off far beyond the backyard. Because we lived close to a main road, I had to start using a harness every time he went outside.
Everyone was sure having some outside fun, they were sure ready to go hunting!
Nothing like “herding” a cat on a romp outside! You were very brave to do it with three cats at once! Thanks for two very entertaining cat videos today, Charles!
I think my wife was supposed to be helping me. I don’t know if it was that video but I remember she disappeared into the house when I really needed her.
LOL! Maybe she realized it was hopeless to try to keep “A Kitty Whose Name Won’t Be Spoken” in control, so she left the impossible to you to do!
Or she has way more faith in me than I deserve.
LOL! You didn’t lose the cat, so that gives some objective evidence of your skills!
That’s true.
Mom cracked up when you tried to bribe the boys with treats and they totally ignored you. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
When I was in training at one of the animal shelters I volunteered for, they said to bring along dog treats for the dog walkers in case they escaped. They said a dog will give up his freedom for a treat but a cat won’t do that.
Cats are trainable. They just don’t like to admit it. 🙂
They are very smart.
Great video’s, we think Frankie was very brave on the leash and walked very straight. When Granny put our leash on, we bumped against effurrything, so we have to give it another try before we’re allowed to walk outside…with her of course…MOL…Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
It doesn’t take too long to get the hang of it.
