Here is a post from April of 2016 ror Throwback Thursday. Who doesn’t love an affectionate cat?
Chris is the most affectionate cat I have ever had. He is also more affectionate than any dog I have ever had. He spends a good part of his day on my lap, on Rose’s lap or curled up with Frankie or Puck.
I’m not complaining, I love that about him, but part of that affection is an unusual need to bite, especially my nose. Fortunately, the biting is only a small part of his affection but it is quite annoying and the reason all the cats get locked out of the bedroom at night.
Now I’d like to hear about your most affection pet.
Oh, goodness… Ollie sometimes bites my hands, if I rub or tickle him in a certain way. He doesn’t bite hard.
Never had a cat bite my nose. Chris just adores you so much. Reminds me of my maternal grandmother…”I love my babies so much, I just want to bite ’em…” She never did but, she definitely meant love bites. Ha.
Chris gave me love bites the day I met him at the shelter.
Awwww…
Chris is a sweetie. My Joanie gives us a lot of kisses every morning. I always joke that she is tasting us. 🙂
Hahaha 🙂
HA! That was some fun (for Chris) nose biting!
Yes, he was doing the same thing a few minutes ago.
Andy gives me pats, but I get love bites if I scratch his chest, something he love, love, loves!
Our Frankie likes that too and he also will give love bites when I do that.
Sweet, isn’t it!
Yes.
The nose biting is a major “ouch” and Ted fortunately hasn’t done that to me BUT he occasionally will bite my hand while I’m brushing him. He loves being brushed but lets me know he’s ready for me to stop by biting my hand which ALWAYS bleeds like crazy.
Hugs, Pam
That sounds like our first cat, Sneakers.
Ever since we brought Sgt Stripes in the house, it’s been a competition for my (and my son’s) attention. It is a very rare occurrence when there is not a cat within a foot of me. My days of being ignored are past.
It would feel lonelier without pets.
That is true.
