I was vacuuming the other day and Chris would just not get out of the way. I tried pushing the vacuum into him to no avail. I had to stop filming and pick him up so I could finish the job.
Most cats are afraid of the vacuum but here, only Floki hides on cleaning day. How do your pets feel about the vacuum?
Chris is a riot. Stand your ground, little buddy! My two newer cats are getting used to the vacuum, but my other cats sit on either their cat house or a chair and just watch the vacuum do its thing. No fear.
Some cats never get used to it and others get a little too used to it.
the feline twin of phoenix LOL

Ted doesn’t like noise period – but since we have three floors I just vacuum whatever floors he’s NOT on and by the time I finish those he moves to another floor and I can do the one he vacated. Musical chairs (or musical vacuums I suppose!).
Hugs, Pam
That sounds like a good plan. I sometimes use the dust mop when the boys are sleeping and when my wife isn’t here to supervise. π
That is funny. Most of mine run and the older mostly deaf ones aren’t afraid, but if I got that close they would move. π
I think Chris has gotten too lazy to care.
The robot vacuum runs into me every day if I am not paying attention. It scares me, but I learn nothing from the experience – over and over and over.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Maybe you need a smarter robot.
dood….ewe iz WAY braver N any trout towne rezident haz ever been !!! we hate de masheen az much az we hate bass terd turkee burd ~~ π β₯
I think most cats are not like Chris.
No way would I stay around that rug sucking monster! ~Ernie
I don’t know how he does it.
Chris you are one stubborn kitty !
You got that right.
Brian’s like that too, he could care less about the vacuum!
I guess they are both unusual cats. Frankie is a little bit like that but I think he would move if I pushed up against him with the vacuum.
LOL! Talk about willful!

Whenever Vacuum Monster is on, I hide behind the drapes. Although, I could kill it if I wanted to. Right?
Of course. You are just being nice.
Louis Catorze approaches the person using the vacuum and screams at them to shut up. And if they donβt, he screams at everyone else, as if to say, βArenβt you going to do anything about this?β
That is too funny.
Yet not surprising?
At least he moved his tail a little!

Snoops and Kommando used to hide. Now they watch from a distance. I guess they’ve discovered it isn’t going to eat them.
I think they are all scared until they figure out what it is. I think some cats are just annoyed by the noise.
