A Beautiful Day for Smelling

The weather has been pretty nice here lately so I opened one of the windows in the cats’ room. They can see fine with shut windows but having one open, even a crack, lets all the smells in. Opening it further would only risk someone pushing out the screen.

I missed a good picture of Frankie standing on the edge of the litter box so he could stick his nose out the window. Chris was napping in the living room and never noticed it.

Just got back inside from taking Ted out for his first yard cruise. It’s cold as heck here – in the 30s – Ted loves it…..with the layer of “insulation” he has on him he’s perfectly comfortable out there while my teeth are chattering! Looks like one of your guys is enjoying a good sniff of freedom.

    Hugs, Pam

My window was cracked that much when Bridget escaped. I have since fattened her up so se can’t do that again.

I love open windows! The screens here are firmly fastened to the window, at least for my gentle paws. Your boys would probably bust them open if they had the chance.

    Send some warm here.

Our side door has glass panels so Ollie can watch all the birds and squirrels. I frequently hear paws on the glass. We also have a window seat in the den and Ken keeps a shade cracked so he can look out the front bedroom window, sitting in an old, antique stuffed rocking chair. He also likes to launch his big butt from the bed to the chair…LOUD thump.
