At eleven years old Chris is still like a little kid sometimes. He loves getting under the cover. It can be quite funny to watch, especially when Floki is around and sees movement under the cover and is compelled to attack.
After a minute or two I feel compelled to partially remove the cover because I am unsure how difficult it is for him to breath.

Two of mine are undercover agents. Parker not so much. She just watches…amused at what the young ones are doing.

took him and any siblings he might have had, “under” something for safety ???

Ha! If you didn’t remove the cover, how long would he stay there? Can you trust him to get out before suffocating, or is Chris like Louis Catorze i.e. cannot be trusted to know what’s best for him?
I think Chris would probably fall asleep under the covers. I’m sure there is enough are under there but I tend to worry too much.
Mom does the same to me when I am cozy under the covers. She doesn’t trust me to find my way out when I need air. I’m pretty sure I can, though….. #not100%

Chris is such a funny kitty! I love that photo of him. He looks very playful. The only time my cats like to go under the covers is when I am making the bed.
