After a recent shopping trip for Christmas gifts, Chris decided it was important to guard one of those gifts as soon as we brought it in the house.

Chris is certainly a proactive cat that knows how to take the initiative. Perhaps he would be a good example in an employee training class.
I bet it is the bestest of all gift what you picked ;O)
I guess we will see soon. 🙂
Oh I bet he thinks that’s for HIM – he’s staking a claim!!!
Pam
I don’t think he realizes Macy’s is not a pet store. 🙂
Nobody takes this. It’s mine.
Employee training class can be difficult for a creature who sleeps sixteen hours a day. doesn’t leave enough time.
You have a point there. 🙂
I’m glad to see you’ve got it covered Chris!
🙂
dood ewe could hire on az see cure a tee at any place we bet, get paid top dollar for it, knot jsut kibble in a dish !!! 😉 ♥♥
Good idea. He needs to help pay for all this organic chicken I buy for them.
Chris is definitely proactive when taking charge of watching over moms gifts!
He is good that way
Good job, Chris! You should get xtra nip for all your hard work.
That’s a good idea.
Good job Chris. If I left a bag out like that, it would get peed on.
That’s not good. I threw a reusable grocery bag outside once with the intention of putting it in the car later but someone peed on it so I don’t do that anymore.
I’m really good at taking the initiative too. For some reason my human sometimes calls it, “Getting in trouble!” Hm.
They don’t understand.
Trouble is all relative. 🙂
He’s doing a great job guarding! Look at that expression! He’s just daring someone to touch that!
I might need a”Beware of Cat” sign.
Whatever it is, Chris has claimed it as his own … even if it’s from the ladies department. 🙂
I think he is waiting for the box to be empty. 🙂
What a good boy he is!
I took in a couple of parcels for a neighbour last week, and Frodo sat guarding them for ages. I think he was hoping to get the boxes for himself LOL
I was just thinking that is what Chris wanted.
Great job Chris, you never know if that gift is for you or not.
I guess he’s not taking any chances.
Is there purrhaps a gift in that bag for the kitties? We always seem to sense that around here! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
No, unfortunately not but I am sure Santa will bring them something.
