All of our cats have two or three favorite spots to nap. One of Frankie’s favorite spots is in front of the television. He only blocks a small part of the picture but his presence is a distraction because he tends to draw the eyes toward him and away from the television.
Did you notice the scratches? I wonder who did that.

The only time Ted ever watches TV is when football is on……otherwise he’s not interested and there’s definitely no room for a big boy like him up on the TV stand!!

Andy’s the television stand cat here. I need the closed captions to follow programming , and he does a fair job of blocking it.
Maybe you need to raise the tv somehow.
Or shoo the cat… Generally, all it takes to get him to move is to stand up an walk toward the television. Mostly, I just whine about the obstructing kitty boy. LOL!

Our Miss Fitz lays in front of the TV and its not a problem unless Dad wants to change the channel and she lays in front of the sensor. Funny how she loves that particular spot
We are lucky because our sensor is not where Frankie sleeps.
Funny enough, none of us have ever thought to nap in front of the TV here. Probably because it doesn’t get watched much, so what’s the point?

I think he puts the scratches there while he’s lying down.
The mom won’t let us get that close to the TV.
