Things are pretty much back to normal in our house since the big fight on Monday morning.
I brought Chris to the vet on Monday afternoon but the vet didn’t find anything wrong with him, other than his weight. We didn’t do blood tests because it didn’t seem necessary but Rose thought it would be a good idea since Chris seems more lethargic lately so we decided to bring him to Frankie’s appointment that Thursday.
Chris and Frankie were separated for a little over a day. After introducing them back on Tuesday morning, Frankie was trying to be nice but Chris didn’t trust him and growled at him for a while. I went to work so I didn’t see anything but Rose sent me this photo.

It was an uneasy truce but it was a truce.
By Thursday things were mostly back to normal.

By Friday everything was completely back to normal.

I don’t know any human who would be best friends with the guy who tried to beat the crap out of him four days earlier.
I took Chris to the vet for blood work and got the results on Friday. Everything is good except for a couple of things that are in a grey area. So for now, we will go on like nothing happened.
Glad things have returned to normal. But don’t be surprised if it happens again. That’s what happens around here. ~Island Cat Mom
Thanks. I won’t be surprised but I sure hope it doesn’t happen again.
Lovely photos! Great that the last photo is the situation now. At the time we had two cats, lived their whole lifes together, they had terrible fights sometimes. I could´t figure out the reason, but I think it was a some unknown and scary sound they heard, but just guessing!
Merry Christmas to you there in faraway America.
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you too.
Great that things have really settled back down. Just in time for Christmas too! Handy!

Always good to have peace in the valley, eh?! Mine have been growly this past week, too. Something in the air? Full moon? Today, they are best buds again, sharing the window to bird watch.
Normal is good, always!
So true.
We’re glad that things are back to normal. Purrs
Thanks. 🙂
I am thinking that something just spooked one of them. Hoping all that is in the “gray” area from the tests, stays in the “gray” area or goes away completely!!!
Thanks, Caren. I don’t like gray areas but at least there is no major problem.
I am glad things are back to normal. I hope Chris will be OK.
Thanks. It sure is a relief. It was also a relief that Chris is blood work was not too serious.
Sending good vibes–darling photos! Merry Christmas to you and the kitties!
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all of you too.
Glad they’re back to buddies. Merry Christmas!
Thanks. Merry Christmas.
Dear Chris
Hope that you enjoy the festive season! with the cat gang!
Love your blog.
My 4 cats also have growly sessions and swipe at each other, nothing nasty but I don’t want them to get injured or bitten. + BOUBOU the squatter does not make things easy. Really nice cat but has no idea about how to behave with other cats…
I just had to investigate a fight 60 seconds ago. All three cats were there and I don’t know which two were fighting but everything calmed down quick.
